Have been locked out of my Mail Chimp account, hence no birthdate updates. Long story and still seek e-mail program to get up and running again. So far no help for me from getting started on several other programs. Memory failures don't help me to figure out how to start. My best bet was the suggestion to simply open another Chimp account.
I'm convinced this effort may make a difference for (school) support and could do it with other classes.
Wonder if you review class participation for all classes each year. If so, is there any slippage after the interruption for the class of 1960, if there was an increase long ago before it began. As I recall, I thought it started when I was thinking about getting more awareness for the class when we were going to get our 50th.
And it would reach each classmate without a direct request for money. If there is a blip for any kind of increase of interest and maybe participation, it virtually has no money cost. And time spent is little and often a very good response, particularly when critical news is included.
And if you want to test it, I would be willing to set it up for the 1959 and 1961 classes since I would have some idea who they are. And if it worked I suspect one of those classmates would volunteer to keep it alive.
My memory problems would concern me to be relied upon after a start up.
